Alarms — set one-time alerts that you won't forget

Pick a date and time, and ChronOtter will nudge you right on schedule.

Tracking timed intervals? Try the Countdown Timer. Recording elapsed time? Check the Stopwatch. Coordinating with teams? Check World Clocks.

About & how to use

Create a new alarm, choose the date and local time, and save. When the alarm time arrives, ChronOtter shows a clear on-screen alert (and, if your browser allows it, a system notification). Use Enable/Disable to pause an alarm without deleting it, or Delete when you're done. Alarms follow your current device time zone—if you travel or change time settings, review your alarms to confirm the times still make sense. For the most reliable behavior, keep ChronOtter open (or install it as a PWA). Browser power-saving can delay events when a site is fully backgrounded, so staying in the foreground gives the best results.

Tips

  • After creating an alarm, double-check the date (today vs tomorrow) and AM/PM if you use 12-hour time.
  • If you rely on notifications, ensure the browser/site has notification permission and your OS Do Not Disturb isn't blocking alerts.
  • Traveling? Because alarms use device local time, review times after landing so nothing fires too early/late.
  • For work sessions that need a hard stop, set a Countdown alongside your alarm as a visible reminder.
